Wednesday morning, 3am

To continue the song title theme!

Actually, the significance of that is that I was NOT awake at 3am this morning - despite not using the sleeping tablets. I think I slept straight through, which is good news.

Had a very useful discussion with my CMHN today. I have decided I am ready to extend the gap between sessions, but in conjunction with that I needed to discuss my fear that the support will suddenly disappear. We have arranged that I will make a phone call to "check in" and to ask for support in between sessions, if I need support. I said that I need to know that the support is still there if I do need it, that it has not totally disappeared, and C really understood this. She said that the knowledge that the support is available almost ensures that I will not need it. It was great that she understood and accepted this.

Had a fun lesson with my English class this afternoon. The skies had cleared and it was glorious sunshine, so I took them out onto the field to read through the first scene in the Tempest. We read it in a modern language version, shouted it through, read it as a melodrama, then read it in the original. Tomorrow we will move outside my comfort zone again and do some drama around it. I hope.
