E's results

Bit of a proud moment here.

E (now 15, just oging in to final year of GCSEs) picked up her results today.

She managed full marks in her Chemistry module paper, dropped 2 makrs (of 50) in her Physics module paper, got an A in her French module paper, got an A* in her (full result) Statistics GCSE and...
...two years early...
...having missed two of the lessons each fortnight due to timetabling...
...got an A in her AS Psychology!

Oh, and I survived the first teaching day back, had some good lessons, no major problems (except for the pupils not being able to save their work - but the network manager tells me there shouldn't be a problem, so that's OK then, isn't it? Even if there patently IS a problem, there shouldn't be one....

Hmmmm

Thanks all. yes, lots of smiling.

That problem has been sorted, but three more have arisen today - including the fact taht M seems to have made a unilateral decision that I should not have administrative privileges. She referred me to the deputy head, who knew nothing about this and left me to tell her I had admin rights - and with a commenta bout wishing he only had to tell people to do somethig once - she was told last term that I was to have admin rights! Honestly! But I'm smiling about it.
