Comment moderation

I've turned comment moderation on due to some visitors who appear to be creating Blogger accounts just to make personal attacks on me. Hopefully they will get tired of this eventually.

Hi C

From what I gather there has been a spaight of people targetting individuals so try not to take it too personal..although appreciate it is upsetting for you.

Don't blame you for moderating your blog.

Take care there

Thanks Mandy. I'm not taking it personally, I hope - I've seen it happen to others, unfortunately. I'm just doing what I can to look after myself. Glad you understand my reasons - I hope people won't stop posting because I really value the vast majority of comments placed here.

I have had some crappy comments- well emails so totally understand where your coming from. Some people just have nothign better than to upset vulnerable people. don't let it get to you x

Hi, have seen a few sites with comments removed recently, it's upsetting I know and don;t blame you. I did the same thing a while back with comment moderation.
Sending hugs and love. Hope you have a lovely week, Katie, x

Just wanted to say hi!

Nothing much to say as I'm tired, but wanted to let you know that I think this is a sensible step and it won't put me off commenting if I feel I have anything useful to say - which as you can see from this drivel, I don't at the moment!

Thank you all for your understanding.

Feeling stronger and more in control for doing this, and very relieved that friends are not put off by the moderation.

I completely understand why you have done this. I decided right from the start that I would moderate comments to my blog. If someone genuinely wanted to comment, this wouldn't concern them and the result has been that I have only not allowed one comment, and that was one that the commentator didn't want published, but didn't know how else to contact me.

I agree with madsadgirl - for the people that are truly here to read what you have to say and support you, it will not matter if their comments are moderated because they won't be attacking you anyway.
