Saying "No"

I've done it twice today. Both times I have refused to take on something extra - or handed it back to others. It feels OK.

(I've also said "yes" quite a lot - and that felt OK too!)

Went to a great folk concert last night with the family - the Birmingham Folk Conservetoire. Lots of young musicians really enjoying making music. Next week we all go to see St Agnes Fountain, and the week after that An Albion Christmas. We're spoiling ourselves!

Got some great responses from my students to their extended homework task. A couple of them have really surprised me with their enthusiasm.

Now all that positivity must be making you feel good. Especially the efforts of your students.

Hi C

Sounds like you found a good balance there.

Glad you enjoyed the music and hope you have a relaxing evening and can reflect back on a day well spent. x

Agh, share some of that with me! I am getting slammed right and left here. I have been working ten hour days and then coming home and grading at night.

Thank goodness there are only a few more working days and then two and a half weeks of vacation -- yes!

How long is your break?
