More garden stuff

The pond still looked decidedly murky, even after my initial attempts to clean it up the other week. I think the hippos were still in residence.
While I was in town today, one of the Pound Shops had a bucket of fishing nets outside. This meant I could contemplate removing the fish from the pond and then emptying it completely. Including the mud. Lots of mud. Certainly enough for the hippos.
So that is what I have done this afternoon. It has taken 4 hours to refill the pond - the outside tap is running at a trickle for some unexplained reason. However, I can now see right to the bottom of the pond again, and can watch the fish to my heart's content. I have to admit, I have spent quite a chunk of the four hours doing just that!

As I am out all day tomorrow, I really should get on with some school work.... Maybe I can take it outside.
