Decision

Have decided to enrol on an MA course. It's designed for teachers, and designed to fit in around "normal" life. I really want to do it - but am a little fearful of taking too much on! However, much of the course will really reinforce my teaching life, and draw on it too. Hopefully I can take my time with it (they reckon 2-3 years, but it can take longer) and I think I will get a lot of satisfaction from it too.

In other news - a powerful therapy session today, unpacking old stuff. And an interview tomorrow. ho hum.

If they are going to allow you to be flexible and you will get somethign from it then go for it, perhaps make course leaders aware that you might have some difficulties and I'm sure they will accomodate. Good luck with interview

Thanks, la-reve. It is designed to be a very flexible course. The idea of letting course leaders know I may have difficulties is a good one - I will see how it goes and get that application in!

I'm impressed just THINKING about such a thing - here's hoping that you can take it very gradually and that it proves to be an enjoyable experience whether you get the gong at the end or not.

Thank you marcella. You're right - it's the doing I am looking forward to - the "gong" doesn't really matter to me at this stage.
