A way of life?

I'm starting to think that instead of being surprised or frustrated by my exhaustion on returning home from work, I need to find ways to deal with it. Certainly at the moment it is becoming an everyday occurrence, but I'm either making no allowance for it, or I am giving in to it totally.

So, how to deal with it? I can:
take a shower
go out and exercise (yuck!)
go out for a walk (possible)
do some yoga (also possible)
take time out to listen to a relaxation / visualisation CD (possible again)

Any other suggestions?

they all sound like good ideas to me, except maybe the exercise!
I went through a 'phase' of using up my nervous energy adn calming and relaxing myself by baking cakes and/ or making bread after work, which i quite enjoyed (as did my colleagues!). It gave me something to thump (bread dough - excellent) and made me feel competant, made the flat smell lovely, tasted great and made my colleagues forgive me my worst sulks....pretty good all round I reckon!

Sounds good, Caroline. Not sure I can cope with the cake making after work, especially as I have a 12 year old who would like to be involved - but then again maybe that would be good. Thanks. I'll give that one a try too.
