Response letter

A whitewash? From BLPT? Surely not?
Well, who'd have thought it!
Who would believe that they don't listen to and learn from complaints?
Who would have believed that they would ignore important issues?
Who would have believed that they prefer to believe there was no discrimination against me because, in my notes, they can find no written evidence of that?
The previous letters they sent me were clearly not a cause for concern, except that they arrived on a Friday evening (for which they apologise). It isn't important that they were signed off by a director when they were insulting to me, factually incorrect, illiterate and did not address points I made. None of that matters.
And clearly, they are now tackling all the issues at root level, because they are rewriting the Complaints Policy to ensure it does not happen again. Oh - wait a moment though - the Complaints Policy they had was not followed in my case, was it. Oh, never mind, I'm sure that a new Complaints Policy will be followed to the letter, in the spirit of openness and honesty on which Bedfordshire and Luton Mental Health Trust prides itself.

hugs - sadly it only confirms what we have followed all along - their attitude and denial and covering over the flaws in the system and not wanting to be accountable for the mistakes that have been made...
remember you are the important one in all of this - in all of it you are the real live person who is involved - not a name or a number - a person with feelings - keep hold of what you know is right and true...
Look after you.. much love
