Monday highlights

Had a massage this morning - wonderful for my back, which has suffered as a result of my standing train trips last weeks.
Then saw R, the counsellor - very positive, very useful. I have been lent a book on using mindfulness to prevent relapse of depression which looks very useful.
D, my pastor, has offered to come with me to my appointment tomrrow with the temporary co-ordinator. That makes me feel much less scared about it.
Just had a phone call from my wonderful GP, now back from holiday. He has said if long-term counselling will be useful he is happy to make back to back referrals for me so I can continue to see R beyond the 6-8 sessions allowed. He agreed that monthly sessions (as I have now arranged with R) would be useful. On a less positve note he wants me to use Quetiapine again if things get bad - something I really really wouldn't want to do. However, he did say that oculd be on a 3-4 nights basis rather than a permanent / continuous basis. Even so, don't want to go that route.
Tomorrow I see V, the care co-ordinator, and have a gym session booked too.
Barbie is looking very well dressed tonight in her new outfits (!) - she may be persuaded to model some of them at a later date, after I have negotiated the fee with her.

Will be thinking of you. I would be dubious about the Quitiapine as well - it's now known as Paraquat in our home, but a small dose might help if things are really difficult. So glad that you have your pastor and GP on your side.
