Tired today...

... really weary, even though I have only taught one hour today. I suspect it is cumulative rather than a direct response.

It's gone well today - my lesson was quick fire and lots of involvement from the kids (due to the "smileys" I was handing out - answer a question and you get a smiley; get three smileys and you get a Merit - and my Merits were stickers not stamps! (I asked these Year 8 - 13 yr old - pupils if they were too old for stickers, and they told me, "You're never too old for stickers!" Some even put them on their shirts for all to see!) The level of involvement and keenness to answer was unprecedented, which made me, in turn, feel good, and led to less behaviour problems.

time for some self-nurturing, I think, in the shape of a luxurious candle-lit bath, and then bed.
